Menegar Ristang was a young Great Knight, often innocent and quiet in nature, and yet had a strong sense of justice instilled into him by his parents. He was first assigned to Nircurus during the Lostathon Campaign, and Nircurus respected Menegar‘s kind and compassionate nature when he was not simply silent.

- Menegar’s name is derived from the Sindarin “meneg“, meaning “a thousand”, and his surname derived from the Sindarin “rista”, meaning to cut. Therefore, Menegar’s combined name can translate to a “thousand cuts”, a brutal Chinese punishment used to inflict as much pain as possible by literally making a thousand incisions on a person‘s body.
