Synopsis of The Fate of Inamorta, Book Three: The Endless Search, Part One
An ancient, powerful enemy.
A deeply invasive, pervasive, and destructive force.
A necromancer--the necromancer-- raising all the horrors that mankind fears and dreads.

Her name is division.
Her name is death.
Her name is Medusa.
One hundred and ninety one years ago, Atreyos, the Hero of Spearta, the Champion of the Ordor Empire, and possibly the best warrior of our age, lost a friend to, and met his end fighting against, this terrible foe. He was sorely missed by his close friend, [Playername] -- you--who still lives, nearly two hundred years later. Though the passage of time has led many others to forget his importance, his story, his life, his legacy for those who remember it, was one of noble sacrifice and strength.
Or so we supposed.
As we now know, he did not perish that day. He was saved. By Medusa. And over the past nineteen decades, he has slowly seen his sacrifice and his loss count for nothing. The only way for him to end the cycle of misery was to attack the nations of Inamorta, steal the Key, and destroy Elimas, the last great enemy of Medusa. His sole purpose complete, he, at long last, ended his own life, in full view of you, and Valanta.
Now, in the present day, we must all deal with the consequences of his treachery. Valanta came to know him-- when he was known only as "the Crimson Spearton"-- and his death deeply affects her. For while they were fated to be mortal enemies, she cannot deny the similarities between them. She lost a comrade in arms. She was broken by her belief that it was her fault.
